Anger and confusion as services axed and route changed

Hundreds of local residents have been hit by Labour’s latest round of bus cuts, which came into force on November 1st.

As well as fewer services, route changes and renumbering, residents also face confusion caused by road repair work taking place in Norton.

Lib Dem campaigner, Sue Auckland, said

This entire process has been a disgrace. The cuts will hit vulnerable people, the consultation was poor, residents’ concerns were ignored, and now there is more confusion with buses being diverted – leaving passengers turning up at bus stops to find no bus serrvice at all.
