Liberal Democrat Councillor for Graves Park Ward - Working All Year Round Learn more
by Steve Ayris on 5 August, 2015
Vital bus services serving our area could be axed under new plans set out by Sheffield Bus Partnership – a body made up of the bus companies and members of the Labour controlled South Yorkshire Councils.
Under the plans, Service 19 would be cut from a half-hourly service to an hourly service.
The 20A, which currently runs every 20 minutes, would be renumbered as the 18 and services to Woodseats would be cut to one service every 60 minutes.
Your local Lib Dems have objected to the planned cuts, and have also criticised the lack of publicity – and the short consultation period of just 25 days.
We’re carrying out our own survey to find out your views.
Please take a few moments to fill in this survey. You can complete the survey by clicking on this link.
We have also launched a petition against the planned bus cuts. Just click her to sign our petition.

Leave a commentLabour’s Bus Partnership has ignored local people again – this consultation has been a shambles, with very little publicity at bus stops and on the buses themselves.
Local people deserve more time to have their say on bus changes which could have a serious impact on many elderly people, young people and disabled people.
